 Topic: plumbing .. multistory ..water distrubution issue
hi

i live in on 3rd floor of a apartment.
we have a overhead tank , water to which is pumped from a ground tank.

Now the water is supplied to all 3 floors via one pipe taken from the overhead tank.
if all the taps on lower floors are open then water never accumulates in the pipe to reach my floor.
water just passes vertically and doesn't enter the horizontal outlet for my floor

is there any simple solution available as this might be a common phenomenon in multi-story apartments where water supply is limited.

        You should take separate supply line for your floor.
