Sorry to say but you are wrong with pooja room vastu
shastra because the west direction never suggested according to vastu. North or
the east directions only recommended according to vastu for pooja room or for place
the idols of the god.

Hello Shailja,
If u do not have any separate Pooja room then u can place the idols or pictures of God on North Eastern part of ur house. But avoid to keep them in Bedroom and also do not mix the pictures of God and ur ancient people. The best place for the pictures of our ancient people i.e. those who are passed away, is South Western Part of the house.
