which wall is good for building house precast concrete wall or brick wall....what is appox price difference....

S L Gupta (Civil Engg) Join date: Mar 2008	Dear Jagminder Brick wall is better in the house than RCC wall, in RCC wall face difficulty in finishing, in electrical and water supply fittings. Rcc wall is much costlier than brick wall for same thickness it is 3.5 time costlier.

manish Join date: Feb 2013	Post subject: rcc wall Dear Gupta ji, I wish to construct a rain water harvesting underground tank. The size would be approx 10'5'5'. What would be better- solid rcc wall or brick wall. The cost of brick is around 7/- per pc. In rcc I will not need plastering and tiling. Kindly advice on the cost part in both cases. Thanks in advance.

S L Gupta (Civil Engg) Join date: Mar 2008	Dear Manish For under ground tank construct RCC wall with plaster finish inside to avoid any leakage for safety of foundation of structure.
