The flat roof of my house has brick tiles . The tiles are joined by "teep" (cement plaster to hold the brick tiles together) . On top of these tiles screed of cement was done.
Now the screed is cracked at various places & this is leading to water leakage I am thinking of removing the screed & getting the "teep" redone. After getting the teep redone, I will not use cement screed as it cracks easily & does not help in waterproofing the roof.
A) How to remove the screed from the tiles ?
B) Will I be able to reuse the tiles after removing the screed & do "teep".
C) What percentage of tiles can get damaged in the process?
D) What other waterproofing method can be adopted ?
Thank you !
