My Carpenter says that pasting laminates at only front side may be lead to bend in door. Is it correct?

S L Gupta (Civil Engg) Join date: Mar 2008	Dear Deepak In my view it is not correct that if we paste laminate on one side then door will bend. If the wood used in door have moisture more than the limit than there is very much possiblity of bending the door shutter.

Deepak Kumar Garg Join date: Feb 2013	Thanks a lot sir for the reply. The wardrobe doors are made with 9mm ply pasted over ply board (thickness 3/4''), that gives thickness of >1 inch. Typical dimension of a door is 7feet Height X 1.5feet Width. with this added information please suggest me , is there any requirement of pasting Laminates at inner side of the door?
