Hello Simon,
You can easily choose from the decorative items available in the market or you can make your own, i can give you an idea to make your own decorative piece done on the wall as I done it in my living room you can easily take help from the description given below:
Just make a small shelf on the wall and paint that shelf with the same color of the wall, put a decorative flower vase on it, and frame that shelf with a decorative wooden or plastic frame. I am sure it would be great compliment to your living room.

You can choose various wall arts like Paintings, to modern wall clocks, wall murals, siporex carvings, decorative photoframes etc. However i have selected some few items for my house. hope you find it interesting.

Join date: Dec 2011 | I agree that there are probably infinite furniture you can hang on your wall though there are only a good few that would really standout. I prefer something dimensional than paintings as to decorate my living room walls though as I leave the paintings for the rooms and the stairs leading upstairs. Hang stone patterns on them if you like that kind of stuff. | | |
