helo sir

what to do to avoid leak on slope roof. the workers are using less water on the concrete mix for the sloping roof.what is the best method to avoid leak on concrete on sloping roof .pls advice

Dear Ekonagu

      I think you have laid the slab /roof. The best method is to finish the roof top with cement shullary and water proofing compound at the time of laying the slab.For this situation do bitumen painting on the roof surface, stick polythen sheet on the bitumen when it is hot and press fully.Then lay the layer of brick tiles and sealed the joints with cement mortar and cement pointing on tile surface. Join date: Oct 2010		hai  we have already laid the roof for some portion.some more protions needs to be done,so to avoid the leaking is it ok to do the same as u mentioned above? or some thing else ?

If you do the process according to the instruction then the roof will be leak proof.
