Software for estimation and costing mainly depend upon the mode of quantification from the detailed drawings ; manually or through CAD drawings and also on the purpose , whether to follow CPWD pattern or for general building contractors.In both the cases , the main buildings items shall be covered up to 60-70% of required numbers of items for complete estimation of any building. Rest of the items have to be quantified and estimate in traditional manner.
