Dear Amog
The Sunken slab is required if you want to fix Indian Type pan of w c sheet. If you are fixing English sheet than sunken toilet slab is not required.

Dear Ankita
Write in detail what type of information do you want.
For Indian type toilet seat the slab should  be at least 18'' sunk.
