sunil ji,
you are advised that finishing layer of mosaic topping should be dismantled totally and a leveled rough surface for pasting vitrified tiles should be prepared. Then a neat cement layer should be applied before fixing tiles so that it may have proper grip with the base floor and after some time tiles may not give hollow space sound. with this you also may save cutting of existing doors.
thanx. | |

No probs as long as the mosiac floor is even without sinks in the surface. Pasting Tiles over Mosaic saves a lot of labor, money and frustrations especially when u r renovating an already living place. Just make sure the adhesive is lavishly used on the whole surface beneath the tile. Use 2-3mm spacers for better results in surface evenness. Most Contractors refuse to use adhesive as they lose the job/money contract for breaking the existing floor and then formatting it. If ur mosaic floor is even then u'll get a even tile floor.
Breaking and re-doing a living space can be a resentful thing to do both money wise and time wise. Also the place is sure to become a mess and u will end up with an additional painting job too!
Time for a break n lay work-7-10 days. Time for a pasting job-1-2 days.
PS-Pasting tiles on the wall is a diff story and needs a lot of precaution unlike floor tiles.

No, tiles can be installed
on top of the existing floor materials without causing any damage and is also
durable. You can do this by using Adhesives like Roff Non-skid adhesives. It’s
as simple as applying the solution and placing your new tiles over it. Just
preserve it for 24 hours and you can give a brand new look to your house. I
recently did this when my house was renovated and it is economical and durable
as well. Always a better option than removing the old ones and turning your
home into battlefield with all the debris. | |

It
depends on what bonding agent you use to fix the tiles. I usually use roff
non-skid tile adhesive which is a cement based polymer modified tile
adhesive. It's perfect for tile on tile application and acts as a waterproof
barrier between the two surfaces. It has excellent strength and bonding
properties which help it be a long term solution! |

You should made floor rough by chilling, clean with wire brush than do final cleaning, and than fix the vitrified tiles with good quality adhesive. Care should be taken that
before laying the tiles surface should be clean. In this process you have to cut door shutter to reduce the shutter size according to floor height.
