Topic: waterproofing concrete flat roof

Hi

My house is now about 2 yrs old. I want to waterproof my roof , is there any paint based solution available for it. I spoke to local construction guys who want to put a layer of concrete as top layer then cure it with water etc etc, but that will make my roof unusable for atleast 5-6days. I know there are loads of paint based solution available abroad , is there any such solution available in India, please suggest.

These products stretch with the concrete and form a waterproof membrane. Unfortunately, untreated concrete cracks and dissolves in many geographic areas where there is a great deal of rain. In the wintertime, water leaks into the untreated cracks and freezes and expands substantially damaging your concrete building.

helgajones Join date: May 2015	Remodeling your roof is not that easy so you should seek help professionally. You should try going to hardware stores in your town and you may ask help from them. They will give suggestions on what is the best option that you have for the proper remodeling of your roof.
