i feel staircase in a house is not heavier compared to other rooms but for the fact slab is zig zag...some engineer vasthu experts say it can be placed in the NE and SW shoulld be heavier...but i feel it may block the light in NE ..BUT NE SHOULD BE OPEN TO LIGHT...THAT IS THE CORRECT REASON for the objection to have sraircase in NE |

Hello Sir,
According to vastu the staircase should be in the south or west direction. The stairs should rise from east to west or from north to south and it should not be in the center of the house. Northeast direction should be avoided.

Vastu considers the NE as the antenna for receiving positive energies or you could say the NE is like the head of a human body. We also have to understand the flow of energy pattern below the surface of the earth ( in one of my earlier posts I have explained the same). Ideally the NE should be open and free from obstruction. However due to paucity of space a bedroom is still a better option than a staircase. A room will have the walls in the corners and not necessarily oppress the NE. The placement of furniture can also be done in such a manner that it does not obstruct the NE. A staircase however will weigh down the NE energies. Since a staircase is vertical and the weight is concentrated on one particular area and if this area is NE it is like putting a heavy stone on someone's head!!

I would suggest you take up a course from the city you are based in. the institute I did the course from does not give postal lessons. I also do not take postal or net lessons
