Sir,
sir please read the some tips for water sump:-
The sump
should be dug to the right or left side of axis. The sump in east
of northeast is most beneficial and the sump in north of northeast
is also good.
Water sump should not be towards Southeast or
Northwest. The sump in the Southwest is worst. Avoid water sump at
the center of the house. if still you have any doubt please consult with a vastu expert.

Hello Prashant,
It would be great if you can share the plan of your house where you want to construct the water sump. As rightly said by Seema, proper location of the sump can be proposed. While constructing the sump as a vastu consultant we have to take care of the axis (Atti samvedanalshil Naadi) and the Pada of the Vastu purush mandal..
