Swinging Sensation
The foundation of this story is laid by Lord Krishna & His beloved Shri Radha ji. The affection or attraction between them is just awesome. Apart from ‘Maha-raas’ one they can seen spending hours of togetherness on a swing on ‘Kadam’ tree in Vrindavan.
Not only Lord Krishna but in late 70s or 80s most of girls in villages use to enjoy this simple rope swing. In villages of cultural states like Punjab and Haryana swing had its own importance. In Haryana Government declared holiday on the Festival of Teej.
In those days swing plays a major role in moment of happiness of life whether it was baisakhi or even a marriage in one’s home. Now as we are in 21st century, a simple rope swing from huge plans entered in our house. Not in our house but some trendy wooden swings can be seen in royal drawing rooms.
Wooden or metal swings like in picture above have changed the era of Indian home interiors. Now they are widely used and available in your budget. This type of ‘jhoolas’ not only decorate our room, it also provide a much needed comfort zone. Averity of lawn swing is also in trend like one below:
