I am back with my new post and it is about “Pillars”. There are two stories in Hindu mythology related to pillars.
Once “Yashoda” (mother of Lord Krishna) feel very frustrated on the mischievous activities of child Krishna. She decided to tie her child to a pillar with the help of a rope.
She tried her best to tie Krishna but all in vain. It was a very memorable miracle of Lord Krishna which was take place near a “Pillar”.
And second story is about famous Prahlaad. Everybody know that Lord Narsimha ( Angle of Lord Krishna) comes out from a ‘pillar’ to rescues Prahlaad from King Hirnayksh.
Apart from these stories pillars have their own importance in interior as well as exterior of a home. Pillars not only strengthen the structure but work of Plaster of Paris or marble stone provide an eye-catching beauty to the interior of the home. Below are some pictures to express my thoughts:
One more historical monument also related to pillars. “Ashoka Satambh” in ,Bihar. From where India take its nation symbol. One can notice this symbol on Indian currency.
That’s not all. I have one more place to show you, Marble pillars along Taj mahal just enhance the beauty of the symbol of love.
In conclusion pillars are really tall, strong and handsome ;-)
