The title of the post reminds me the story of Lord Ram served with fruits by Shabri. Shabri was a pure devotee of Lord Ram. She kept waiting for long time to see glimpse of Lord Ram. Her wait end when one day Lord Ram with brother Lakshaman reached her hut. Lord Ram was living in forest those days. Shabri was so delighted to see all of them. She served them half eaten plum. Ram accepted those half eaten plums and blessed Shabri. 

    
The story above teaches us that we should put devotion and purity in our food. Although the story has nothing to do with kitchen but as we all know that food is connected with kitchen.

Kitchen is place where almost every homemaker spent a major time of their life. So kitchen should be large enough that you can move easily. Here are some more points to keep in mind while constructing kitchen:

1) Proper ventilation is recommended. Use chimney over the cooking range/ gas burner like shown in picture below:

3. Choosing paint for kitchen is very tricky. Colors reflects your thoughts and also able to change your mood. So paint your kitchen with colors which make cooking a pleasure for you.
