Its a funny how one selection forces you to change the whole interior decoration scheme of a place.  When we were designing the bathroom of our office, we did a huge mistake. We did not plan the bathroom design before hand. I also did not know about the GharExpert.com website and I had no idea how cool a bathroom design could be :)

So we went to a hardware store to pick up a WC. Ofcource the cost was a concern so we picked the least expensive WC available and chose the ivory color. The color became the bane for the rest of the design of the place. The guy gave us a discount and also told us that it won't be possible to replace the WC.

Every thing was cool till that time, the WC looked good but when we went on to choose the tiles the guy asked us what was the color of the WC and surprisingly the tiles available with ivory background were so horrible compared to the tiles available in white or other background colors.

This forced us to go with an all ivory colored finish which was very dull so the moral of the story is "Design before you buy" because one purchase could alter the design options available to you considerably.
