Topic: Pooja room in northwest sector

Hi,
I have purchased a new home in the US and the only possible place for pooja room is in the northwest sector of the house which is a family room. I can place the idols facing east and pray to GOd facing west. Is this a favorable placement?. Please advise

Pooja Room in North direction of house provides good results comparing to any other directions.In a Pooja Room,God faces towards east side and our face towards west side, this is good position, according to vastu shastra. Nitien Parmar Join date: Jun 2008	Post subject: God Corner Hello Shilpa, According to vastu, the tranquility zone is north east zone of any premises. This is the first choice for vastu room location. The direction North west is the second best choice and not falling in negative location. Since you are able to put god on east level facing west, the placement is good as per vastu. Vastuplus Team
