Architects Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners formerly known as Richard Rogers Partnership have completed the first homes with features of cutting edge designs at Oxley Woods - a sustainable housing project near Milton Keynes in England. The houses include more off-site construction than traditional English homes do besides consisting of all energy conservation features.
The 145 properties have been constructed from sustainable materials and employ unique features including an ‘EcoHat’ – allowing hot air to be reused to optimize energy consumption and provide passive solar water heating – as well as exceptional layouts to maximize space and light.
