World-Class Urban Architecture To Be Built In UAE |

RNL developers’ gets world class architecture designed for four communities to encourage a balanced, common pedestrian- friendly environment and all-round comfort of living in UAE. The projects covers over 15 million sq m of land for those communities ranging from 8,000 residents to over 100,000 residents and a total built-up area of over 18 million sq m. and reveals that all the four communities will live, work and play there. The designs were showcased in an annual international real estate development event and exhibition, Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2008.
Because of its strategic location in Abu Dhabi, Dubai border, the self sustaining community will become a major hub between the two Emirates. The three million sq m project will provide an affordable housing for 20,000 residents encouraging low to medium density neighborhoods. It will be provided with open space corridors to connect neighborhoods; several pedestrian underpasses will allow clear access beneath various high traffic streets to discourage dependency on vehicular transportation.
In the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Ghantoot development made a large settlement for 100, 000 residents who will enjoy resort like location at tree plantation oasis, the Gulf Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The location is easily accessible to local ports and airports and other facilities. The RNL designed a unique and sustainable multiuse centre, a landmark for region and a tourist center including marinas, an equestrian center, a beachfront resort hotel and golf course.
The design of Lu’luat Al Raha site at the center of Al Raha Beach focuses on the development of strong community feel for water front. The project consists of 470,000 sq m of built up area on a newly reclaimed island of 235,000 sq m. The common area of Lu’luat Al Raha Development is linked to neighboring developments via a landscaped boulevard and commuter light rail system connecting Abu Dhabi airport with downtown Abu Dhabi. Shams Abu Dhabi project consisting of high rise residential buildings, literally called as “The Sun of Abu Dhabi”, Shams Abu Dhabi will develop on the part of Al Reem Island and hopes to be a booming centre of urban activity; which is carefully designed around the surrounding water.
