London based architect Norman Foster gets to redesign New York public library
New york Public Library has awarded a 250 million dollar renovation project to Norman Foster, a recipient of Pritzker award and a famous architectural firm. The project would require the London based architect to redesign a 7 floor space on the western side of the building. The new design would be more open while still conserving the heritage design of the building which was completed in 1911 by John Carrere and Thomas Hasting.
