Using Cardboards to design a book store |

In August, 2007 a London based designers Blustin Heath had complete the interior of Magma Book Shop situated in Earlham Street in London. Blustin Heath have designed a cardboard interior for the shop which include shelving systems, counter surfaces and changing rooms. All these are made from treated cardboard. Elements can be replaced simply and cheaply. Total amount on this project was £60,000
Blustin Heath describes the project as following:-
“ We designed the first product store for Magma Art bookshop using only cardboard as the construction material throughout.
The main display wall was conceived as a flat pack system – it folds into an easy to assembly solid, sculptural display system. Therefore it can be altered, added to or replaced simply and cheaply.”
