Color scheme depends upon lots of factors like size of the room, lighting, functional requirement of the room, type of furniture and furnishing being used in the room. Light colors makes an area seems large, spacious and airy Hence for smaller rooms should  have the wall with light colors. Dark colors are heavier and brings surface closer and give impression of less space.

The simplest thumb rule is to look at a color, where color lying next to one another will create harmonious look in the room. Where as those lying on opposite wall will create contrast. You may choose different contrast of colors given below:-

  1. Cool colors like blue with green. Its gives soothing feeling and comforts.
  2. Warmer colors like yellow and orange have nice combination.
  3. One wall antique gold with other in cream color.
  4. Pink with brown.
  5. Orange with peach
  6. Light orange with sky blue.
  7. Red with chocklate
