Water proofing treatment is done on the top of roof is an important part of construction work. Any unnecessary saving or carelessness may cause dampness in the house. The cheapest form of water proofing on terrace is given below.

1) Apply 2 coats of bitumen on the top of RCC Slab after cleaning the slab with wire brush or brooms.
2) Lay mud plaster on bituminous surface.
3) Lay the earth in required thickness for making proper slope to drain rain water.
4) Lay brick tiles with mud mortar on earth work which was already laid in a proper slope.
5) Do cement mortar in the ratio 1:3 grouting on brick tiles and clean the surface with brooms.
6) Do curing for at least 7 days.
