With tiles they can easily pop out it contractor isn't careful. (Maybe because of temperature change). Tile can break easily if cheap quality is used.
I hear vitrified tiles are very good, find a good manufacturer. With marble one is worried about veins (black lines - appearance becomes a factor). Marble is expensive for good quality. Best Marble in sequential order are 1)Italian Marble, 2)Makrana, 3)Ambaji. |

Both marble flooring and vitrified tiles flooring are equally good. These floorings are strong, stain free, easy to wash and fire proof. Both have minimum joints and are bacteria free as no bacteria can grow on them.
If you want to lay flooring other than marble and vitrified tiles, you can lay wooden flooring, linoleum flooring and PVC flooring etc.
Thanks
