The colors of one room opening into another room could have a drastically different colors too at least that is what I think. That Bathroom door is going to be closed most of the time so if you have another color combination in mind for the bedroom, I would go for it.  Depending upon the tiles in the bathroom and their finish and glossiness you may not even find the same color combo for the bedroom and if you add the furniture of the same color there is no turning back and you could be stuck with the same color for ever.

At the end of the day you have to live with those colors and trust me there is no better feeling than wake up to a color that you love. 

As far as the color combination is concerned, I am listing one image where two rooms/areas have very differant color combinations and they don't look bad.  Check them out and see if its of any help

The choice of colors in any room depends on individual taste/liking. The color scheme also depends on the size of room, lighting (Both artificial and natural) and functional requirements. The colors of lighter shades or different colors like pink or purple which you want to use in your bedroom are a good choice.
