Hello Vijay Kumar Verma,

The details given below for calculating different material are used in brick work.

S. No. Brick work Quantity Cement Sand Bricks
1 With cement mortar 1:3 1 cubic meter 2.4 bags .25 cum 480 no.
2 With cement mortar 1:4 1 cubic meter 1.75 bags .25 cum 480 no.
3 With cement mortar 1:5 1 cubic meter 1.45 bags .26 cum 480 no.
4 With
Cement mortar 1:6 1 cubic
meter 1.20 bags .26 cum 480 no.
5 With cement mortar 1:7 1 cubic meter 1 bag .26 cum 480 no.

You have given only area of the wall without giving thickness of the wall for calculating the materials in brick work. Assuming 9 inch thick wall, the calculation of material is following.

• Volume of brick work= area of wall X thickness of wall
                                    = 100 X 9/12 = 75 cft or 2.12 cum
• Cement = 2.12 X 1.45 = 3.07 bags
• Sand = 2.12 X .26 = 0.55 cum
• Bricks = 2.12 X 480 = 1017 no.

Thanks.
