Vastu Shastra is an ancient ‘Vidya of Structure’ which teaches users the art of harmonious living with natural energy i.e. water, earth, fire, air and space ( Jal, Prithvi, Agni, Vayu and Aakash). The whole energy generated by the great elements of ‘Panch Bhoots’ follow the straight path and the experience of feeling, and the energy reflection depends upon the shape of the object i.e. The plot. On physical level the dimension is a measurement of length, breadth and height /depth in conventional design. Dimension lines are used to scale and prepare designing elements properly. |

Building practices based on limited interpretations of these principles are still sustained in specific areas of India. Though Vastu is conceptually similar to Feng Shui in that it also tries to harmonize the flow of energy. |
