Question details

We have a crack in the corner of our garage footing. The crack is visable from both the inside and outside of the garage footing. the crack is from the top of the concrete towards the floor and out
the crack is about 1/16 in size and is in a crocked `C`shape. From the outside of the garage the crack goes downward to the front above the driveway level. Should this be drilled and screwed or can I glue it together to prevent it from getting any bigger.

Hey Roland,

You should remove cracked material that is concrete or brick etc. at least 9 inches on both sides from crack line and then fill it properly with new material, proper cement mortar. Similarly the cracks in drive way can also be repaired. The detailed process of repairing cracks is given in the article ‘how to repair cracks’ published on our site.
