 Hello Friend,
Vastu is a bridge between God and Man. Don't be confused.
Law of nature is to keep E, N, NE open. According to that law East and North facing plots are good for residence. You can buy Square and Recanglular plot. But ratio of lenght and breadth should not be more than 1:2.
As per vastu, location for kitchen is south-east and north-west . According to vastu, there should be construction in west and southwest. East and north are the direction for leaving open space.

Hi,

According to the principles of symbolic vastu shastra every part of the building and material must be constructed/ placed in proper direction indicated for it. Everyone builds his home with an imitation of comforts and happy living. Hence regardless of purpose the house must be built complying exactly to the principle of vastu shastra.
