The following are the steps to decorate small apartment.
1. The shutters of walls and doors of front portion/entry of the apartment should be well painted. Door handles should be stylish and be clean without any spot of paint.
2. Electric switches, light fitting, bell point should be decorative, modern and the shade of these should match with the color of wall.
3. Good looking name plate and house number plate should be fixed instead of writing on wall.
4. Two good looking flower pots should be placed at the entry. Well painted flower pots having plants up to 18” in height look good at the entry of the house.  
5. Eye catching, pleasing and attractive curtains should be hung at the entry door.   
6. The floor and paint on wall at the entry should give warm feeling with low shade light when enter in the house.
7. Paint your drawing room with lighter colors as light colors make the room look large and spacious.
8. Provide curtains according to the design of the door and windows. Lining curtains are durable and protect from outside weather. Fancy tie back makes the curtains more attractive.
9. Ornamental pieces such sculptures, wall hanging, flowers and painting add to the beauty of the room. You can also put fresh flowers into vase anywhere beside phone table or on dining table.
10. Mirror can be additional ornament to the room.
11. Arrange furniture according to the size of room. If there is less space, you can use sofa cum bed which serve both purposes in emergency. Use folding and wheeled furniture which can be used according to the need.
12. Give ornamental touch by placing carpet in drawing room.
13. Paint your bedroom with eye catching colors that evoke certain moods or emotions.
14. A low dressing table and adjustable bed which offer extra storage should be provided.
15. Provide eye catching bed sheets and pillows as pillows are available in many designs and shapes such as heart shape, square, oval and circular shape etc.
16. Eye catching color make your bathroom look cool and refreshing, color theme of a bathroom should be consistent with colors of walls, tiles and accessories. White color is a good idea in bathroom.
17. Use pedestal washbasin or cabinet wash basin which adds to the beauty of bathroom.
18. Use good quality mirror, towel rail, soap dish and acrylic corners to enhance the beauty of bathroom.
19. White paint, black granite stone on counter top and ceramic tiles on floor and walls add to the beauty of the Kitchen.
20. Make use of modern style cabinets which give extra space for storage and look beautiful also.
