The wiring in the house is done with main and branch distribution boards (distribution system) at convenient center without isolated fuses except for wall socket. All conductors should run along the wall and ceiling as far as possible so that they can be accessed easily and be inspected thoroughly. In any case wiring should not run above ceiling. The balancing of circuits in three wires or three phase installation should be arranged before hand. Circuits on opposite sides of three wire system, or own different phases of a three phase system are kept as far apart as possible in all cases keeping minimum distance of 7 feet between each of them. Medium pressure wiring and all associated apparatus should comply with the requirements of rule no. 60 and 61 of Indian electricity rules.
Thanks.Goodluck. |
