There are many causes of dampness in the multi story buildings.
1)Dampness in walls from ground due to improper DPC in walls.
2) Dampness in floors.
3) Dampness in walls during rainy season which is due to leakage in rain water pipes .
4) Dampness due to leakage in water supply pipe lines in bathroom and kitchen of your house or in the house situated above your house.
5) Dampness due to leakage in joints of sewer line in bathroom and kitchen of the upper story house.
