Jaisalmer stone is a kind of sand stone and is a very good stone for flooring and cladding. It is best installed on floor with a combination of white marble or making a border design in any white marble flooring. It requires a lot of care during installation and if proper treatment is done ,it can be used for high foot trafic lobby or cladding.Normally it is avaialable in tiles as well as bigger size of 4 x 2 .Present market rate is 120.00 per sq ft in Rajasthan for 20 mm thick tiles of 2 x 2 size.

Jaisalmer marble stone is yellow color marble stone obtained from metamorphic rocks capable of taking polish, formed from re-crystallization of lime stone. It is from shelly lime stone by even visibly crystalline nature and non flaggy stratification. It is available in Jaisalmer ( Rajasthan) in India.

It is generally used for flooring as marble stone flooring in bungalows, Hotels and other important buildings as it looks luxurious. It also gives very good look in steps, borders and inlays.
