Layout of the building is done with the help of wooden pegs having a small black nail on the top of it. Brick structure called ‘burji’ is made around these pegs to strengthen them so that we can get permanent point which will not be disturbed by the labor working in the area. These ‘burjis’ are called marking pillars. The points fixed on ‘burji’ are called reference points.
