:The distemper available in the market is of two types.
• Dry distemper
• Oil emulsion (oil bound) washable distemper

These two types of distemper are used for painting on ceiling and interior walls of a house. Opera silicon paint is a paint which is used for painting exterior walls of house. The use of silicon paint on distemper surface is not advisable.
