Mcb is likely to used to protect for all Domestic lighting Products against Overload and Short Circuits..
ELCB: EARTH LEAKAGE CIRCUIT BREAKER used to protect Human life and higher rating to prevent building from Fire.
Lighting surge arrester used for incoming Main line (indirect surge Arrester) and it is to be used in prevent damages all Household products due to surge.

The earth leakage circuit breaker and separate miniature circuit breaker are used to detect the fault during over load and sort circuits like MCB,s , MCCB,s and HRC fuses etc.
A lighting arrester comprises of nonlinear resistance disc 2 stacked within a ceramic causing annular metal cover rings 3, 4 being fixed to the opposite outer ends of the casing.
