 Topic: Cement Block Floor Slab
Is it possible to replace using concrete material as a floor slab by laying cement blocks on a rammed earth surface laid with a layer of cement screed?

I have attached a detail of how I think this system of construction works

I am however unsure of its implication structurally and would like feedbacks

           Yes, you can use old cement blocks under flooring. Care should be taken that the bed is fully compacted before laying cement blocks a.nd their top surface should be rough to give proper bonding of cement concrete to be laid on the blocks.
