HelloIn the above mentioned project, I feel SINTEX is the best option. The only problem with it is that, water get heated up quite easily. If site condition permits, I prefer to construction a slab on pillar at 2' to 3' above roof, add 5" wall to three sides, except the east site, to a height equal to height of the tank. Make sure that there is space all around the tank for cleaning.
Concrete, is heavy on the structure, moreso it is very difficult to manage the water leakage.
SINTEX is the dry solution.

Hello,
The present building is Bungalow house consisting of ground plus 1 floor. Over and above the 1st floor on the terrace floor there are two existing water tanks, out of which from one water tank, water is leaking and hence seepage of water in interior walls. What will be best option whether to repair the same or go for buying a syntex water tank and keep the same above this water tank? Since there is another tank which takes care of most of the water requirements and this one is used for only washing, bathing inside the house, will it be syntex tank having capacity of 500 litres is installed above the existing tank. Please suggest.
Many thanks in advance
With kind regards
Ramachandran
