|  Topic: Gap between Spiral staircase and wall corner?
Hi,
I have plan given by my architectire, in which it has a spiral staircase in north-west corner of hall. Attaching Image for layout. Now I have question about the hollow passage/gap between one side of staircase and corners of 2 walls. (Highlighted in green in attached image). How I can fill up this area? Right now I have planned to build this spiral staircase with concrete. But considering my problem of the Gap that is remaining between staicase and wall corner, I am thinking some other alternatives to build staircase with metal, steel, wooden instead of concrete. Please provide your expert suggession on this. The gap remaining in this will be difficult to clean and maintain, and also will look odd. Also if I decide to build staircase with other material other than concrete, with what material should I build staircase so that it will look good and problem of gap also gets solved. Also what will be advantage and dis-advantage of constructing staircase with concrete and some other material. Also what will be cost difference?

that hollow corner looks great. just put railing both sides.

It is better to take any suggestion from your architect.

Simply attach the area with the Bed room and can use that space as Dressing/ Ward Robe.
Else Treat with Indoor Plans and maintance is must in this case.
