Laying one row of clay bricks on top row of solid concrete brick wall for height correction?

 Topic: Laying one row of clay bricks on top row of solid concrete brick wall for height correction?
My contractor use clay bricks for the top row of solid concrete brick wall of ground floor for height adjustment to 10 feet. Is it technically ok? Is there any issues in mixing concrete bricks and clay bricks in wall construction?

        There is no harm to use clay bricks. Do the masonry in cement mortar 1;4 with all joints properly filled.
