The plaster in my house cracked due to earthquake. I want to remove the old plaster from the wall. After removing the old plaster I want to plaster only the old cracked removed portion with fresh plaster.
What is the name of the chemical that help new plaster to bind with the old wall? What should I do to ensure that the new plaster glues to the wall properly as if it was the old plaster.

On old wall, scrap the plaster and remove all loose material first by wire brush and then by hard brooming. After thatwall should be clean with washing with water.As per my view no chemical is required, apply cement shullery on wall before applying cement mortar and finish throughly.
