First Floor layout should be same as Ground floor?

Hi,We are making two storied house. The First Floor Layout Plan DO NOT match Ground Floor plan and builder will not keep extra beams to carry the load of first floor walls. Internal wall weight will be on GF roof slab.Will this cause problem to us when we want to go for third storey in near future?.

Is extending roof slab is solution to protect house walls frm Dampness?

Hi,We are making new house in Hyderabad. Plot size is 36' X 60'. I would like to know is it a good idea to keep roof slab projected beyond the ground floor walls so that rain water will not come to the walls directly.Two sides of the house are protected by 3' extended slab beyond wall position as covered open area, but we have only 2'6'' open space at south and west side.Can you please give some a.
