please help....slow draining in the bathroom

we just completed some renovation in our house and moved the washing machine to an existing bathroom.  the outlet was connected to the existing silt (fixed a grating with the big hole for machine outlet). the issue now is that the waste water back flushes every time the machine empties itself.  the water from the washing machine first fills the deep pipe with a gurgling sound and then starts filli.

we are constructing a new floor Bathroom size is 4ft 6" x 7 ft what kind of po

just finished remodeling a bathroom of more or less the same size.  (if not smaller,i.e.)  we went against the rules of wet n dry areas to get more space. but it all depends on ur lifestyle and choice of fittings. (from the lay man's point of view i.e- am no expert - but no expert knows ur needs better than urself) may i ask what kind of commode are u going for? for us, we placed a wall hung close.
