time gap in construction phases

i started constructing the ground floor of my duplex on 24th oct. 2011. My construction pattern is 'confined Mansonary' (RCC) . The foundation work was completed on 20th nov. The brick work was finished on 30th Nov. Now i want to know that how much 'rest period' should be given before lintel. my contractor wants to construct lintel on 15th Dec. and he wants to start the brick work for the second s.

The brick work was finished (ratio 1:6)on 30th Nov. Now i want to know that how much 'rest period' should be given before lintel. my contractor wants to construct lintel on 15th Dec. and he wants to start the brick work.
