Erecting steel beam for main gate

Hello experts I have ordered the main gate for my plot 12 ft x 6 ft hight (2 halves). Fabricator is going to weld hinges to steel "C" beam with 4 feet extra which will go in ground . What's the correct procedure to erect those beams ? can I do it myself by hiring some labour ? Regards Vivek.
