Minor crack in the roof concrete

Dear friends,Good morning .Recently we kept roof concrete .While pouring water for curing ,we could see the minor cracks on that .( not in all the places . Only 4 square.feet area approx.) What may be reason ? Is it ok ? Thanks .

Laping length requirement

Dear friends,This is regarding the lapping requirement.We are doing construction work in the first floor . So for raising the pillar we need to have lapping of steel . So how much lapping length to be made .As per some searching we are telling that 5 times of thickness for length (as minimum 50 *16 mm= 800 mm = 80 cm ) But contractors saying as per their experience min 50 cm Please suggest your vi.

Boxes vs bricks on vertical column concrete

Dear Friends,This is for the First floor.Column have been raised to 7 feet and all the walls are raised to 7 feetNow slap (lintel) have been kept and completedWe have to raise the column up to 9'6". So balance 2'6"Our doubt is do we need to use the Boxes for the balance column or directly concrete can be placed by raising the bricks wall to balance height and keeping woods in the side...will it gi.
