is room storage slab in the wrong position?

Inside the room a slab was made long before for the storage of all the extra blanket and extra pillows and bags so those are kept there, it looks odd to me. does having a storage like this in this position causes any negative effect in anyway in the room? also there is a beam above the bed and i'm planning to place false ceiling or move my bed. Me and my brother only sleep in a separate floor of southwest corner but do the daily activities like lunch puja study on both floor. The problem is the ground floor is completely in rectangular shape but the first floor where I sleep the eshan room is not there so the eshan kon is cut. Is there any problem? Or effects?.
