what is best basement solution(pillars and plinth)  for houses with low ground level to street level? My plot (35X50) is 5 feet below to street level. please share thoughts and any plans to minimize extra cost to elevation ?.

Compund wall for a house with road level below 6 feet

Hi Am constructing a new house, the house basement is 6 feet from ground because the road level is 5 feet than ground level. My Contractor said to construct a compound wall of height 14 feet Height( 3 Feetbase +House Plinth level 6geet + Wall 5 feet). Am scary about this. 14 feet wall? Any Alternative for this? attaching the House basement image.Thanks.

Foundation type of Land which is 5 Feet down to Road Level

Hello People,Am planning to construct  new  home and plot size of 33 X 45 Size.But the plot is down to 5 feet to from Road level. So i would be needed to my House level 1-2 Feet above the road level which will 6-7 from the ground level.Which type of basement plan is good for this? Pillars till the road level and plinth beam on the ground level is fine or do i need to have pillars connected through.
