Dear Biswajit,
According to vastu principle you should never cook while facing south. Cooking with face towards the south may lead to financial problems West direction is alternative for east direction as east is best for facing while cooking food. Gas stove or any other cooking material should be placed in such a way as allows the cook to face only towards the East while cooking.

Dear Amit,Thank you for highlighting the issue but I already knew its bad to cook facing south thats why I am asking for solution what should I do to avert bad vaastu if I have no alternative way than cook facing south.

The cooking stove should be placed in the south-east corner and the members of the family should face east while cooking.
Remedy: Paste a set of three zinc pyramids on the wall opposite to the stove.

Hello, Biswajit, I have seen your post and many of our friends are responded with their suggesion. However, I have a simple guidline to you considering that the you are residing for rent. The kitchen should be in SE direction but your plan shows that this corner is occupied by sink. The only option left out after anlayising, you shoud place a wooden table at East wall with GI sheet covered on top to protect from damage, easy to clean and stove should be placed on it then you will be facing East direction for cooking. This direction is better than nothing and is also cost effective to you. Regards, Venki | | |
